Welcome to Strawbridge Elementary School, home of the Sharks. We are a fully accredited school and are recognized for our commitment to educational excellence in all areas. At Strawbridge Elementary School, our mission is “to elevate the academic achievement of all children.” Your child’s academic success is our first priority.

We serve over 800 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. In addition, there are several special education classes at our school. Early Discoveries, sponsored by the YMCA, can be found at Strawbridge Elementary School. Before and after school programs, sponsored by Parks and Recreation, are available to students. There are also various after school programs at Strawbridge Elementary School, including after school tutoring, Cooking Club, X-treme Science Club, and Drama.

Strawbridge Elementary School boasts tremendous parental and community support. We have had over 100% PTA membership for the past 6 years and are looking forward to “Lucky Number Seven.” You are encouraged to join and support the PTA. We also want you to volunteer at our school and become an active participant in your child’s classroom. Our Partners in Education are also productively involved with our school. We have several community organizations that support our school throughout the year.

At Strawbridge Elementary School, we recognize that the commitment for providing quality education for your child is on-going. Our entire staff and school community continuously work together in this process. We continue to provide staff development opportunities for the staff to educate them on current trends and practices affecting student achievement. We will continue to ask for your help and support as we show the students that the circle formed between home and school is continuous.
